Day 9
30-day Online Course
Monkey Mind
It's critical to put a boundary around your thinking mind -- to be clear about what is and what isn't thinking -- and to make time where you choose to give no attention to the monkey (in a loving way!). You're going to get really good at leaving the monkey world and getting out of all that noise.
Practically speaking, for a time, this will often look like wresting control back from the monkeys (you didn't even notice that they took control, right?!) and recovering from distractions (with a breath and a potential smile). Then, focus for a few moments on your breath/body, and then choose where and how (calm and alert) to direct your attention. 😊
